INTERPROVINOIAL. [PEB PBESB AGBNOY.] Accident at the Thames. Gbahamstown, February 25. A sad accident happened on the Thames River yesterday. A party of naval cadets were coming from Parowai in a cutter, when the young man at tiller suddenly sprang into the river, and was not seen afterwards. The body has since been recovered. The inquest is proceeding. Wellington, February 25. The Wairarapa "Standard" says it has authority for stating that Ministers have in contemplation the publishing twice daily, for the benefit of the morning and evening papers and for transmission throughout the colony, a " Government Circular," giving brhfiy an account of all business transacted or to be transacted during the day. The first number will probably be issued on the return of the Premier to Wellington. Reefton, February 25. The Premier addressed a public meeting of a thousand people. A vote of thanks and confidence was carried unanimously. He was afterwards entertained at a banquet at which 300 were present.
