OTAGO v. CANTERBURY.

The cricket match—Canterbury v. Otago — commenced at noon. Only about 200 were present. The weather was fine. Canterbury went to the wickets, and up to 2 p.m. played capitally. Four wickets were then down for 70 runs. Oodby made 8; Hartland, 11 ; Moore, not out, 36. Fowler and Moore are still at the wickets. Both are playing splendidly. Moore made some excellent drives, and was much applauded.
