About London buyer, Mr Gurney, has largely overshipped us in many useful lines of Plain Goods, we shall dispose of a lot at less than wholesale rates during the next fourteen days. Our half-yearly stook-takitg and balance is fixed for the 19th of February, we therefore propose to wind up this clearance on Saturday, short and the season an inconvenient one for our country customers, many of whom will not be able to call, we have made special arrangements for the prompt execution of all •orders received by post, and also requests for patterns or other inforIn some instances the quantities are limited, we therefore respectfully solicit an early call or an order.
