CATHEDRAL OFFICES.
To the Editor of the Globe. Sir, —The engineers hare adopted my plan for tidal outfall. The Drainage Board and City Council have adopted the repeal of the proviso to clause 14, proposed by me at Knightstown and Philiipstown, and ‘now hero is another idea, which will save the city or the people a great deal of money. The Buildings in the Square are strong enough to carry another story. If they be not carried up higher, then the increasing work will necessitate a new site, more offices, more expense. I understand if the architects and engineers take steps at once, before the roof is begun, that a third floor can be put up. By all means put it up at once, to save expense to the country. Yours &c., J. W. TREADWELL.
