WE have Ready for Sale, all the remains of our Season’s Stock of FASHIONABLE COSTUMES, PLAIN AND FANCY MATERIALS FOR DRESSES, Millinery, Flowers, Feathers, -Parasols, Scarfs, Grenadines, Dress Muslins, &0,, &c. Although we do not, on this occasion, publish our usual catalogue of articles for sale and the reductions in price shown thereon, we still have sufficient variety to show our customers a good assortment, and we venture to s&y that much as we have sacrificed goods of these classes, at the end of the previous seasons we have never given such inducements to purchasers its we shall place before 4 them on this occasion; Unusually Liberal Discounts have been marked on Merita Mercery, Hats, Caps, Shirts, UundendfathiDg, &c., and also on Men's, Boya’, and Youth’s Clothing of our own importation as well as those manuiacturcd by ourselves from Mosgiel Tweeds. Ae*ar London buyer, Mr Gurney, has liargely overshipped ns in many useful lines •of Plain Goods, we shall dispose of a lot at less than wholesale rates during the next (fourteen days. Our half-yearly stock-taking and balance is fixed for the 19th of February, we therefore propose to wind up this clearance on Saturday, the 16th February. As the time is short and the season an inconvenient •one for our country customers, many •of whom will not be able to cal!, we have made special arrangements for the prompt execution of all ■orders received by post, and also '/requests for patterns or other infer* anation. In some instances the quantities are limited, we therefore respectfully solicit an early call or an order.
