Rapid Steaming.— On the trip previous to the present one the Union Company’s steamers made rather lengthy passages between New Zealand apd Bydaey, in ponsequenee of the prevalence of a furious gale. But the Wakatipu has this time made an extraordinary run from Welling too, the time to being 00J7 four duye eight hours.
