Mails close at the Chief Post Ofloe to* the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations SATIN'D ay. februaey 2 For Dunedin, < verland, at 6 a.m. Por Akaroa and Otago, per Taranaki, at 11 a.m.; late letters. 11.20; railway station 12.10 p.m. train. For Wellington, Nelson, West Coast ports, and the Australian Colonies, per Tnrarna, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern ports of New Zealand, on the sth instant. The next Eng ish mail (via Southampton and Brindisi) will close at Christchurch on Monday, the 11th instant, SYDNEY J. DICK. Chief Postmaster.
