POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations:— TUESDAY, JANUARY 29. For Dunedin, overland, at 11 a.m. For Northern ports, per Wanaka, at II p.m.; late letters, at 3.20 p.m.; railway station, 4 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30, For Otago, overland, at ti and 11 a.m. For Otago, per Hawea, at 11 a.m. ; late letters, 11.20 a.m.; railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. THURSDAY, JANUARY 31. For Otago, overland, at 0 a.m. For Northern Ports, per Tairoa. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Tararua. The next English mail 1 via San Francisco, will close on or about Ist February, 1878. Mails Cor Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Rangiora, and Fcruside now closed at 3.10 p.m., will, on and after the Ist proximo, he closed at 3.20 p.m. Mails for Ashburton, Temuka, Timaru, and Killinchy, now closed at 4.30 p.m., will, on and after the Ist proximo, be closed at 3.20 p.m. SYDNEY J.
