AUSTRALIAN.
Melbourne, January 14. The dismissal of other officers is expected next week. Bishop Moorhouse was presented with a congratulatory address on his first anniversary in Australia by the leading members of the Anglican Church.
INTERPROVINCIAL.
[per press agency.] Auckland, January 15. Mr Bees addressed the city electors last night. He reviewed the events of the session. The only important part of his speech was that in which he spoke of his resignation. He said he found his private interests and political duties clashed. He must either resign or give up his private practice. He was removing to another district, and he left it to his constituents whether he ought to resign. A vote of confidence was passed. The feeling of the meeting was opposed to his resigning.
