Mails close at the Chief Post Offloe for the following places as under, subject to uaoeoaary alteration!": — WEDNESDAY, 16th JANUARY. For Otago, cverland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters at 2.10 p.m.; railway station, per 2.40 p.m. train. For Otago, per Taupo, at-M5 p.m.; late letter box, guard's van, must not be used for Taupo's mails. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tui, at 4.45 p.m.; the late letter box, guard's van, must not be used for Tui's mails'. For Wellington, per St. Kilia, at 4.45 p.m. The lato letter box. guard's van, must not be used for St. Kilaa's mails. For Wellington, Westport, and Greymouth, per Grafton, at 11 a.m.; late letters, at 11.20 a ns.; railway station, per 12.10 p.m. train. THURSDAY, 17th JANUARY.
