♦ The revenue collected at the Customs 011 Saturday January 12th, amounted to £424 6s Bd. Items as follows:—Wines and spirits, £7O 2s lOd ; tobacco, £162 17s 6d; tea, £94 17s 6d; drapery, £32 4s ; stationery, £l2 16s ; grindery, £ll 16s Id; sundries, £39 12s S)d. At the sittings of the Waste Lands Board on Mondav, January 11th, 527 acres 3 roods were disposed of, realising £1055 10s. The land is situated as under:— Ashley, 63 acres 3 roods; Selwyu, 28 acres; Ashburton, 55 acres; Geraldine, 171 acres ; Waimate, 210 acres.
