It is a very favorable day for cricket. The wickets were pitched at 10.30. Pour Canterbury men were out for 122 at 2.30. Godby made 6, Wood I, Neilson 28, Ashby 44. The Canterbury men are playing admirably. Tiie Wellington men’s fielding is poor. It looks extremely probable that Canterbury will not finish their innings to-day. They are now lunching.
