THE SUPREME COURT.

To the Editor of the Globe,

Sin, —1 happened to be in the vicinity of the Supremo Court the other day, and, of course, wishing to know what was going on, I proceed to gain an entrance in the usual way, but to my astonishment was accosted at the entrance by an officer of justice, commonly called a policeman, and told to stand back. In vain I tried to got some explanation for this strange proceeding, but the only one forthcoming was a shaking of the “ fist ” in my face. Now, Mr Editor,| perhaps you could enlighten myself and a number of others who were treated in like manner. Never before was I refused au entrance into a public Court, and you may imagine my a-tonisment and disgust at such a gross piece of officialism and humbug. Waiting your reply as to who is responsible for this state of things, Yours, Ac., VISITOR.
