The revenue collected at the Customs on Thursday, December 27th, amounted to £579 ICs 4d. The items were as follows:—Wines and spirits, £4OB 10s 3d; ale, £5; tobacco, £54; tea, £l7 7s; sugar, £72 13s Id; jam, £7 16s; boots, £4 4s; sundries, £5 6s. COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Sydney, December 28. Hennessy’s case and cask brandy, kerosene, and rice are unchanged. Adelaide flour, £ls to £ls 10s; Adelaide wheat has been sold at 6s 6d; new, 6s. Other quotations are unchanged. Business is stagnant, Auckland, December 28. The flour market is much depressed. Quotations —£ls; Adelaide, £18; only small trade lots are offering. Bran, £5 ss; pollard, £5 10s, in bags; oatmeal, £l9; oats, 3s 9d; potatoes (new), £4; cheese, 7d; bacon and hams in cloth, cargo of Fiji realised 4s 9d. Good steers, 26s to 27s per lOOlbs. There was a falling of 10s per head as the sale proceeded. Fat cows, 23s to 255; fat sheep in fair supply, and dull at 21 d; fat lambs are numerous, but slightly lower. O AMARU, December 28. Owing to the Christmas holidays very little is done in the grain and breadstuffs market, which continues to exhibit a downward tendency except as regards oats. Wheat, 4s to 5s 2d; oats, 3s to 3s 6d; barley, none; flour, £l4 to £l4 10s, f.0.b.; oatmeal, £l7; pearl barley, per ton of 22401b5, £2O; pollard, £5 10s ; bran, £3los.
