The revenue collected at the Customs on Saturday, December 22ud, amounted to £419 4s. The following are the items :—Woollens, £22 4s ; hoots, £4 16s; hats, £7; drapery, £44 6s; cement, £4710s ; hardware, £3l 2s; earthenware, £2B 14s; corrugated iron, £lll4s 7d ; flour, £6 13s ; bottled beer, £9 12s 6d; dried fruits, £6 Cs 6d ; nails, £ls 4s ; oil, £7 10s; cocoa, £7 10s; caudles, £lO 8s 4d ; fencing wire, £24 Is; oilmen’s stores, £B3 ; paints, £ls 17s ; glass, £6 6 s'; sundries, £59 9s Id. At the sittings of the Waste Lauds Board on Monday, December 24th, 2422 acres 2 roods wore disposed of. The land w r as situated as under : Ashley, 251 acres; Selwyn, 1519 acres 2 roods ; Ashburton, 420 acres ; Geraldine, 212 acres; Vincent, 20 acres.
