Mails olose at the Chief Post Ofioa for the following places as under, subject to neoessary alterations :— TUESDAY, DECEMBEE 25. A postal holiday, all branches of the Office will be closed. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBEE 26. For Otago, per overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For Northern Ports, per Lady Bird, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, at 2.10 p.m.; railway station, per 2.40 p.m. train. SYDNEY J.
