Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations ! WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 19. For Otago, per overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For Otago, per Hawea at 11 a.m.; late letters at 11.20 a.m.; railway station per 12,10 p.m. train. For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 1.50 p.m.; lateletters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway station, per 2.40 p.m. train. For Wellington and Nelson, per Eingarooma, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, at 2.10 p.m.; railway station, per 2.40 p.m. train. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20. For Otago, per overland, at 6 a.m. SYDNEY J. DICK.
