The schooner Janet Ramsay, Captain Lang, left the Bluff on Sunday morning, December 9th, with a northerly wind, which held to Slope Point, when the wind changed to N.E., and lasted till off Nngget Point. ' Then had southerly winds to Oamarn when the breeze became light and variable, and continued so to Akaroa. Thence southerly winds to arrival in harbor at S a.m. yesterday. She was berthed at the Tunnel wharf to discharge. Some damp straw was discovered smouldering yesterday morning in the lazarette of the ship Eaknia. A little water extinguished it in a few moments, no damage being done either to ship or cargo. There are great complaints respecting the scarcity of tracks.
