Wellington, December 11. Arrived—Forest Queen, from Ly ttelton. Bluff, December 10. The Arawata arrived at 8 p.m. yesterday, and sailed for Dunedin at 9 a.m. to-day. She left Melbourne on the sth with the Suez mail, sixty saloon and fifty steerage passengers, and 420 tons cargo for all ports. Cleared the Heads at 6 p.m., Wilson's Promontory at 1 a.m., Swan Island at 11.20 a.m. next day. Experienced fresh S.W. winds and fine weather until the 9th instant, when a strong N.W. wind, with a heavy sea, was encountered until passing the Solanders at 1.15 p.m., making the passage in three days twenty-two hours.
