PARLIAMENTARY INCIDENTS.
[FEOM THE CORRESPONDENT OF TILE I'UESS.] Wellington, December 6. Business is being pushed on rapidly. Government proceedings are becoming more and more extraordinary. Their promise of economy has been met to-day by Mr Sheehan announcing that the Government had increased the member*' honorarium to On their Loan Bill, they have been defeated this afternoon. One of their own supporters proposed three millions, which was defeated, and, ultimately, two and a half was carried. It is reported that Sir Hercules Robinson has written to the Governor, saying that he would have dismissed Ministers on the late breach of privilege occasion. The House will probably sit late to-night, finishing business, including the remainder of the Estimates.
