Mails close at the Chief Post Office £>r the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6. For Otago. <u «nand, at 6 a.m. FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7. Mails per Albion will close as under : For Otago, and Australian Colonies, at 1.50p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For United Kingdom, per Orient liner Cuzco, at 1.50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. Correspondence must be sxtecially addressed per “ Orient line.” For Loudon, per ship Merope, at 8 a.m. Correspondence must be specially addressed.
