CHRISTCHURCH. Wednesday, December 5. [Before Q-. L. Hellish, Esq., R.M.] Lunacy i-bom Deink. —An inebriate, who appeared for the iirst time, and was evidently still suffering from the effects of drink, was remanded for eight days for medical treatment. Drunkenness. —Francis Watson was fined 10s. A first offender was fined ss. Drunk and Illegally on Premises. — John O’Shannassy, charged with being drunk and illegally on the premises of Mr W. Wood, Ivilmove street, at a late hour, was fined 10s. Transfer of License. A temporary transfer of the Rotherfield Arms from Robert Q-eddes to Charles Deal was granted. LYTTELTON. Wednesday, December 5, [Before W. Donald, Esq.. E.M., and T. 11. Potts, Esq., J.P. I Larceny as a Bailee. —Alfred Gray aHas Ralph Grade was accused of thi» offence. He had been arrested by Detective Smith, who stated accused had received a watch from Alex. Hanna, and had pawned it in Christchurch. Accused gave up pawn ticket when arrested. The ease was remanded at the request of the police. Neglected and Criminal Childrens’ Act. —Charles Watson, aged nine years, was sent to the Industrial School, at Burnham, to bo brought up in the tenets of the Church of England. Civil Case. —Curtis v Mould, claim £1 6s 3d; judgment by default, costs 9s,
