POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29th. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For "Wellington and Sydney, per Wakatipu, at 1.60 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tui, at 4.45 p.m. Late letter box, railway station, must not be used for Tni’s mails. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30th. For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Wellington, Nelson, and Colonies, per Alhambra. For the Chatham Islands, on or about the Ist proximo. A mail will be despatched for the United Kingdom, via Suez Canal, per Orient steamer Cuzco, on or about December 6th. Correspondence must be specially addressed per Orient line. RUSSELL J.
