Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the folio-wing places as under, subject to necessary alterations WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28th. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For Northern ports, per Taranaki, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2,10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Wellington and North, x> er St- Hilda, at 3 p.m.; late letters, 3.20 p.m.; railway station, 4 p.m. train, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29th. For Otago, overland, at t> a.m. For Wellington, Nelson, and Australian Colonies, per Alhambra. For Wellington and Sydney, per Wakatipu. For Kaikonra and Wellington, per Tui. A mail will he despatched for the United Kingdom, via Suez Canal, per Orient steamer Cuzco, on or about December O’th. Correspondence must be specially addressed per Orient line. BUSSELL J.
