Mayors' Coukts.—ln reply to a commie mention from the Dunedin City Council, tin Government has stated that it does not consider it desirable to revive what were caller "Mayors' Courts," and that the conditioi upon which it is sought to re-establish tin flavor's Court in Dunedin is an imposeiblt one ae the law at present stands.
