INTEBPKOYINCIAL. [pee press agency.] Kelson, November 19. A fatal accident occurred yesterday afternoon to Mr Majoribank, a resident at Waimea, who, when (driving .home, stooped forward to whip the horse, lost his balance and fell from the box, lighting on his head and rupturing a blood-vessel in the brain. He was driven home, and died in two hours after. The salmon ova are all hatched out. The fish are strong and healthy. Blenheim, November 19. Thompson’s sawmill, Waitohi Valley, was burnt on Sunday. The loss is about £I6OO. The cause is unknown. The insurances are, in the Imperial, £750 ; Victoria, £SOO. An inquiry will be held on Tuesday. Dunedin, November 19. A match took place on Saturday afternoon between the crews of the Union Steamship Company and the Otago Bowing Club. The latter won by a length. The Suez mail was delivered here last night at seven o’clock. Australian Eleven v. Queensland Eighteen. [FROM OUR DUNEDIN CORRESPONDENT.] At the match between the Australian Eleven and the Eighteen of Queensland, at Brisbane, the Eighteen scored 58. H. Egan scored 22. Allen bowled splendidly, and obtained an average of ten wickets for sixteen runs. The Australian team won in one innings with twenty-three runs to spare. Bamicrman was the top scorer with seventyfour.
