Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations: — TUESDAY, NOVEMBEE 20th. For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Otago, via Timaru, per St. Kilda, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Tanpo, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Wellington and Nelson, per Eiugarooma, at I. p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBEE 21st. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For Otago, per Taranaki, at 11 a.m.; late letters, 11. a.m.; railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. For Local mails and postal rates, see Guide No. 16.
