Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations:— TUESDAY, November 13. For Olago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Otago, per Tanpo, at 11 a.m.; late let ters, 11.20 a.m.; railway slation, 12.10 p.m. trail). For Nelson, Westport, Greymouth, per Maori, at 1.50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2..'J0 p.m. train. For Local mails and postal rates, see Guide No. 16. The next English mail via San Francisco closes on or about November 16th. The next English mail via Southampton and Brindisi closes on or about November 19th.
