Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations: — MONDAY, November 12. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For South and Australian colonies, per Albion, at 11 a.m. ; late letters, 11.20 a.m.; railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. For North and Australian Colonies, per Claud Hamilton, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. TUESDAY, November 13. For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Otago, per Taupo. For Local mails and postal rates, see Guide No. 16. The next English mail via San Francisco closes on or about November 10th.
