Auckland, November 9. Edwin Jaggar, formerly Inspector of the National Insurance Company, has been arrested, charged with embezzling money from Mr Martin, agent of the Phoenix office, by whom Jaggar was latterly employed. He was remanded. His solicitor said it would prove to be a matter of accounts between parties, capable of arrangement.; Dunedin, November 9. To-day is observed as a holiday in Dunedin. The principal attraction is the sham fight and volunteer review on Forbury Park, in which about 1000 volunteers will take part.
