CANTERBURY ARTILLERY. The following is the return of the firing by the Second Class Squad of the Artillery for battery prizes, fired at Hillsborough on Wednesday. Sergeant-Major Raven was the officer in charge. There were five shots at each range:— 200 300 400
The prize winners were Gunner Mapp, first prize, £2 10s; Gunner Best, second, £2 ; Gunner Booth, third, £1 10s ; Gunner Costley, fourth, £1 ; Gunner Boles, fifth, 10s.
