POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations :— WEDNESDAY, October 31. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For Southern ports, per Hawea, at 11 a.m. ; late letters, 11.20 a.m.; .railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tui, at 4.45 p.m. The late letter-box, guard's van, must not be used for Tui's mails. THURSDAY, November 1. For Otago, overland, at G a.m. For Wellington and Sydney, per Wakatipu, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Local mails and postal rates, see Guide No. 16. NEW POST OFFICES. On and after the Ist day of November the following uew Post Offices will be established: — Waimate Junction Railway Station. Kirwee Railway Station. RUSSELL J.
