Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations:— FRIDAY, October 26. For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wauaka, at 11 a.m.; late letters, 11.20 a.m.; railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. For Otago, per Wakatipn, at 11 a.m.; lnte letters, 11.20 a.m.; railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. SATURDAY, October 27. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. For "Wellington and Wanganui, per St. Kilda, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Dunedin, via Tiuiarn, per Maori, at 4.45 p.m.; late letter-box, guard's van, must not be used for the Maori's mail. MONDAY, October 29. For South and Australian Colonies, per Ringarooma.
