CHRISTCHURCH. Thttbsday, Octobee 25. [Before G. L. Mellisli, Esq., R.M.] Deunkenness.—Mary Welstead was fined 20s ; Emanuel Trenwith, 10s. Neglected Childeen.—Annie aged 14; Miriam, 11 years; Thomas Richard, 9 years; and James Edward Aynsley, aged 7 years, were brought before the Court as neglected children. Inspector Buckley stated that the relations of the children were willing to take charge of them if an arrangement could be made with their father, who was now their sole guardian.—The Magistrate haying spoken to the father, the children were formally discharged.
