The brig Derwent, also from Newcastle, arrived this morning. The tedious work of raising the coal from the sunken hnlk Eli Whitney in Wellington harbor has proceeded more rapidly than might naturally he supposed, considering the difficulties of diving. Of the SOO tons of coal which the hulk contained when she sunk through the collision with the Taupo 500 „ous have been raised to the surface, so that only 300 tons remain. ,
