SUPREME COURT.

♦- SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. Friday, October 19. [Before His Honor Mr Justice Johnston.] His Honor sat in the Court chambers at 11 a.m. EE GOODS OE JOHN PEARSON, DECEASED, INTESTATE. Mr Joynt applied for an order for leave to issue letters of administration to Sarah Pearson, as mother of deceased. His Honor made the order. RE GOODS OE MARGARET ANTILL, DECEASED, INTESTATE. On the application of Mr Joynt, letters of administration were granted to Wm. Antill as husband of deceased. WILL OE WILLIAM AMOS, DECEASED, Mr Garrick applied for an order issuing probate to Mary Alice Amos and David Amos as two of the executors named in the will, reserving leave to the other executors to come in and prove. His Honor made the order as prayed. EE JOSEPH G. OSBORNE. An application for an order of discharge of the debtor was not moved, RE JOHN CARTER. On the application of Dr Foster an order was made declaring the deed herein completely executed. His Honor made the order as prayed. WILL OF GEORGE HOLMES, DECEASED. This case stood over from last Chamber Sittings, in order to allow Mr Garrick to give the Bank, who were creditors, notice of intention to apply for the order. It was an application for administration to D. G. Holmes, durante absentia of John Holmes, the executor named. Mr Garrick now filed affidavits in support of the application. His Honor made the order for letters of administration to David Gordon Holmes, durante absentia of John Holmes, or until further order of the Court be made. Security to be given by administrator to the extent of £35,000. RE NATHANIEL V. MEYERS. In this case the bankrupt came up for examination. Mr Garrick appeared for the Bank of New South Wales, a creditor, to examine the bankrupt. Mr J oynt appeared for the bankrupt. The bankrupt was examined at some length by Mr Garrick as to his trade and dealings, and the number and value of his creditors. The examination was directed towards the business relations existing between tho bankrupt and H. S. Meyers and Co., of Auckland, who were debtors to the firm of Meyers Brothers, of Christchurch, to the amount to £I7OO.
