POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations: — For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Albion, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m,; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern ports per Taranaki, at 4.45 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, must not be used for Taranaki’s mails. The next English mail will close on Friday, Oct. I9th.
