I HEREBY give notice that in accordance ■with the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1876, and the Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876, Nominations for the Offices of MAYOR, NINE CuUNGILLORS and TWO AUDITORS of the BOROUGH OF SYDENHAM will be received at the District Schoolroom, Colombo road, in the said Borough, before the hour of 12 o’clock at noon on TUESDAY, the 16th day of October inst. Nominations in the form prescribed by the Act to be addressed to the Returning Officer and delivered at the said Schoolroom by the time above app anted. And I also ive notice that (if necessary) the POLL for the ELECTION of M \YOR will be taken on MONDAY, the 22nd day of October instant; that the POLL for the ELECHON of NINECOUNCTLL' *RS will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 24th day of October instant; and that the PO!L lor the r. LECTION of TWO ACDITORS will be taken on FRIDAY, the 26th day of October instant.
