The revenue collected at the Customs on Friday amounted to £577 10s lOd. Messrs Miles, Hassal and Co. have negotiated the sale of Messrs Rhodes’ Seadown estate and stock, to Messrs Driver, Fleming, Hedley and Co., for the sum of £115,000. The estate consists of 9335 acres freehold, and the stock 12,000 sheep, 800 cattle, and 20 horses. The purchasers are well known agriculturists in Otago, and will no doubt give a good account of their purchase.
