POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following’ places as under, subject to necessary alterations:— SATURDAY, October 6. For Otago, overland, at C a.m. and 11 a.ra. For Northern Ports, per Wauaka, at 3 pan.; late letters, 3.20 p.m. ; railway station, 4 p.m. train. For Wellington and Wanganui, per St. Hilda, at 1.50p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Akaroa, per Tougariro, at 4.45 p.m. Late letter box, Guard’s van, railway station, must not he used for Tcngariro’s mails. MONDAY, October 8. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For Wellington and Australian Colonies, per Wakatipn, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train.
