The revenue collected at the Customs on Thursday amounted to £929 19s Bd. The following were the items:—Wine and spirits, £92 16s 7d ; tobacco, £29 12s 6d ; tea, £6; sugar, £ll9 12s 4d; confectionery, £4 18s ; drapery, £139 10s; saddlery, £9 2s ; boots, £lO 2s ; stationery and fancy goods, £2 17s 6d; sundries, £515 8s 9d. At the sitting of the Waste Lands Board on Thursday and Friday, 9784 acres were disposed of, realising £19,568. The land was situated as follows :—Ashley, 944 acres; Selwyn, 291 acres, Akaroa, 640 acres; Ashburtou, 1733 acres; Gwaldine, 175 acres; Waimate, 5001 acres.
