The Sam Mendel, ship, has arrived from London, after a passage of 108 days. She brings several saloon passengers. Bluff, September 17. The s s. Arawata arrived this morning, after a rough passage. She brings the Suez mail, 25 saloon passengers, 40 steerage passengers, 400 tons of cargo, and 293 sheep for all ports. Passengers for Lyttelton—Messrs Bain, Brettargh, Murray, Fraser, Rutherford, Misses Murray and Brettargh, four in the steerage ; 80 tons cargo and 140 sheep. Port Chalmers, September 18. Arrived—Arawata, from Bluff.
