POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post-office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations WEDNESDAY, Sbptkmbku 12. For Otago, per Wanaka, at 11 a.m. ; Lite letters, 11.20a.m. ; railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Taupo, at 1.50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.:10 p.m. train. For Chatham Islands, per Omaha, at 11 a.m.
The next English mail, viii. Sau Francisco, will close at Christ church on or about the 20th inist. Note. —An additional mail is now dispatched to Addington, closing at 11 a.m.; return mail closes at Addington at 5 p.m.
