Mails close at the Chief Post-6fflce for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations : Saturday, September 8. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For Otago, per fit Kilda, at 1.50 p.m.; lute letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.80 p.m. train. For "Wellington, Nelson, and Australian Colonies, per Turarua; at 1.50 p.m.; lato letters, 2.10p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Wellington and Sydney, per Waikatipu, at 4.45 p.m. Late letter box, guard's van, railway station, must not be used for Wnkatipu's mails. For Chatham Islands, per Omaha, on Wednesday, I2th September. 1 J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
