The revenue collected at the Customs on Wednesday .amounted to £9O-1 Is od. The following were the items: —Wine and spirits, £l2O 5s lid; tea, £99 19s 9d; sugar, £llO 16s 7d ; rice, £2B ; marmalade, £3 14s; engravings, £5 Cs; drapery, £2lO 12s; musical instruments, £1 Gs; leather, £5 3s 2d ; woolpacks, £3 Gs ; apparel, £123 12s; boots, £42 6s; stationery and fancy goods, £9 14s. COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Wellington, August 23. Flour, colonial, £lB to £lB 10s; Adelaide, £23; oats, 4s ; bran, Is Id ; wheat, 4s 4d; hams, 91d; bacon, 9d; maize, 4s Gd ; pollard, 7s Od ; potatoes, £3 10s to £4; cheese, 7cl. THE REVENUE RETURNS. By the returns appended to the Financial Statement it appears that the falling oR in the Customs duties for the last financial year occurred principally in Dunedin and Auckland.
