Tlie revenue collected at tlic Customs on Monday amounted to £531 ss. The following were the items Wine and spirits, £237 Os od; tobacco, £6l 17s 6ds tea, £56 Is 6d; sugar, £lO3 Us Id; caudles, £5 4s 2d; drapery, £56 12s; jewellery, £5 8s; nails, £1 2s; stationery and fancy goods, £7. At the land sales on Monday jand Tuesday 7208 acres were disposed of, realising £14,416. ihc land ■was situated as follows Ashley, 480 acres; Selwyn. 1016 acres: Akaroa, 102 acres; Asaburtou, 1726 acres; Geraldine, 2393 acres; Waxmate, 1494 acres.
