General Q-ourka has gone to St. Petersburg to bring the Guard to the scat of war. General Wellesley has returned to Bulgaria. Indecisive fighting has taken place at Batoum. Shipping. London, No date. Arrived May Queen, from Lyttelton ; Oamaru, from Dunedin ; and Windsor Castle, from Sydney. INTERPROYIN OIAL. Fires in Otago. Dunedin, August 20. A fire broke out in Messrs Weir and Samson’s, Princess street, on [Saturday evening, hut it was speedily extinguished. Considerable damage was done, but the amounts of the insurances are not known. Mr Crossley’s fellraongery at Green Island was burned down last night.
