POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at tbe Chief Post-office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations: — Wednesday, August 15. For Southern Ports, per Hawca, at 11 a.in.; Into letters, 11.20 a.m.; railway station, 12.10 p.m, train. For Northern Ports of Now Zealand, per Taupe, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco will close on or about the 21th hist. For local mails, see Postal Guide, No. 15. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
