The revenue collected at the Customs on Friday amounted to £432 3s Bd. The following were the items: —Wine and spirits, £l9O 4s 9d; ale and stout, £l4 2s 6d; tea, £36 Os 6d ; sugar, £65 14s lid; jams, £24; confectionery, £2 2s ; jewellery, £l2 16s; hops, £lO 6s 6d; matches, £7 10s; drapery, £4B 10s; hoots, £5. LAND SALES. Mr Moore’s Wakanvd property was offered for sale by public auction on Thursday, at Ashburton. There was a large attendance, and many of those present had come from distant parts. Of the farms submitted for sale, thirty-one were sold at excellent prices, the average being between £9 and £lO per acre. The following is a list of those sold, with the mice ner acre
