INTERPROYINCIAL. [per press agency.] Dunedin, August 7. The annual meeting of the Dunedin Jockey Club was bold last; night. The report and balance-sheet showed that the affairs of the club were in a very satisfactory condition. An unsuccessful effort was made to reject the majority of tho old committee, but all were re-elected, with one exception. Wellington, August 7. The polling for the To Aro reclamation resulted in 559 votes being recorded for, and 70 against, only three in Tc Aro ward voted against.
